No action to recover for injury to property, personal injury, or wrongful death arising out of the defective condition of improvement to property shall be brought against any person performing/furnishing the design, planning, etc. of such improvement more than 5 years after performance. The statute does not apply to the manufacturer or supplier of any equipment or machinery installed in a structure. VA. CODE ANN. ยง 8.01-250.
