An action for injury to the rights of another, not arising on contract, and not otherwise enumerated by statute, is subject to a two year statute of limitations (Kansas has no specific provision regarding construction contracts). The action must be commenced within 10 years of the act giving rise to the cause of action. KAN. STAT. ANN. ยง 60-513.
